Ten Simple Steps To Buying A Home

1. Get Pre-Approved

2. Make a WANTS vs NEEDS list.

3. Know where you want to live.
Narrow down a location; whether it’s a zip code, school zone, or proximity to hospital.

4. View homes in your budget, with your needs, in your location ONLINE .
Use this form to submit the above info, and a list of homes will be emailed to you.

5. View your list of homes in person.
Out of the list emailed to you, use this form to let us know what homes you want to schedule to see in person.

6. Make an offer on your dream home.
Inform the Realtor who showed you the above list of homes that you are ready to make an offer; he or she will do the rest. View a blank contract.

7. Get a Home inspection.
Once under contract, schedule a home inspector to meticulously point out all the flaws of the home. Once the home inspection is complete, you will have an opportunity to negotiate repairs.

8. Transfer utilities and insurance.
Don’t forget cable TV and Internet.

9. Close on your home.
